This feature lets you set the level of video resolution:
fixed: prohibits any change to video resolution, and simply passes an incoming signal, without conversion, to the tv. when selected, "video resolution" is not available in the settings menu
adjustable: allows the user to select the resolution sent to the tv from the media console via hdmi®
This option is only available when the media console is connected to the TV with an HDMI cable. If there is an HDMI cable connecting the media console to the TV, follow these steps:
Setting the video resolution is a two part step. First change the setting to "Adjustable" and then change the video resolution:
Turn the TV on and select the correct video input to view the System menu
on the remote, press system
press the right arrow to select the "video" icon
press the down arrow until "video resolution" is highlighted
press the right arrow to select the current option
use the up arrow or down arrow to change to the setting to "adjustable"
press exit to leave the system menu
Be sure the TV is on with the correct input selected
Select a source other than FM, AM, CD or DVD
on the remote, press settings
press the down arrow until "video resolution" is highlighted
press the right arrow to highlight the current setting
use the up arrow or down arrow to select the desired setting:
- 480/576p (lowest quality)
- 720p
- 1080i
- 1080p (highest quality)
press exit to leave the menu
